Our 2022 EOY Showcase is a blended event incorporating live video recording, photography, and a small in-studio audience. It’s a homely experience in a controlled environment where students can overcome performance jitters and build their confidence with the support of friends and family. The fee below covers a professional live video recording and photography package by IICONIC Creative — the perfect souvenir.

Each performer will be allocated a show time and a performance time, based on age, instrument, preference, and the amount of audience members they wish to bring. It is a limited space, so we are dividing each show so as to accomodate around 20 audience members at a time.

Please fill out the form below to register yourself or your child to perform. It is one entry per student. (In other words, if you have two children performing in the event, you will need to complete the form twice.)

It is our pleasure to offer this opportunity to motivate and celebrate our students and all their hard work. We can’t wait to clap and cheer for each performance. See you there!

Registrants may perform a whole song or just an excerpt of a song, and any genre and level is welcome. Please make sure your song choice is appropriate for children and parents. We recommend preparing more popular, well-known pieces so as to ensure the availability of quality resources. Singers must provide a quality mp3 instrumental backing track for their performance or arrange accompniament. Piano players will be excited to have the use of our beautiful grand piano!

There will be no charge for tickets or attendees; the fee covers the cost of the staff, catering, facilities, and photography and videography services.

If you want to perform but need a little bit more help, feel free to go ahead and register regardless as we can help you prepare for the event via your music lessons with us.

I understand i) this is an event for Melodique students of all ages (children/teens/adults), ii) the event will be held at the Market St. Wollongong studio, iii) that there are no refunds nor credits of the registration fee for any reason — except in the unlikely circumstance of the event being cancelled, iv) all mobile devices must be switched off or placed in ‘Aeroplane Mode’ upon entry into the performance space to avoid disturbance to the recordings, v) all registrants must provide digital copies of their written music or mp3 instrumental backing to Melodique at least 7 days in advance of the show and in physical/printed form on the day of the performance, vi) a digital grand piano and a microphone will be provided for our pianists and vocalists, but all other instrumentalists must bring their own instrument for play on the day, vii) performance time preferences will be taken into consideration however, show and time allocations by administration yet to be advised are final (taking place from 2pm on the day of the event), and viii) the event fee covers one (1) performance of one (1) registrant/student and one (1) song/piece, for no longer than five (5) minutes.

Consent & Release *

I – the registrant, OR the parent or legal guardian of the registrant – hereby grant permission to Melodique representatives, to take and use video, photographs and/or digital images of my child taken during the 2022 EOY Showcase event for use in: 1. Media releases, media articles – including newspapers, radio, and television – printed publications and/or educational materials relevant to the Melodique, 2. Electronic publications and communications such as Melodique’s Facebook site and website. 3. I agree that my or my child’s name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the video/image/s. 4. I authorise the use of this video and images without compensation to me. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall be the property of Melodique.
